Tahnnakai Temple and the Gender-Confused Heroes
Well, I emailed this to anet about 3-4 weeks ago, and despite being told how important my message was to them, and how they would read it as soon as they could. I got an automated response that, though it was from Diana made no reference to anything I'd said or was even reassuring me about the right kind of bug. I responded by updating my original report with even more faults I'd found, and subsequently received a message saying it had been closed because I had not replied. GG NCSoft server. Anywho, here are todays pictures..
Jaizhanju - the masculine lady warrior.
Karei - the highly iffeminate monk.
Mao's story is amazing.. so why is 'Kaolai' stood at his shrine? (whoever 'Kaolai' is)
Naku - again, wrong gender
Tenai - wtf?! wrong gender again?!
Many of you will probably not care or consider the lengths of my research rather sad. I however feel a bit injusticed because plainly, arenanet just don't listen.

I noticed these when I went through there, it could use fixing
Kinda odd that anet doesn't listen to such a glaring design problem though..

They came back as ghosts, which is very traumatizing, who would blame them if they had a small case of identity crisis?

Yeah I noticed those too. It's like at least half of them are screwed up somehow. Probably none of the testers bothered to read those texts, or the ones who made that map.

If you spent your days as a male/female. When you finally past away, would you change sex if you could?

I emailed support about this as well when I first noticed it, kinda funny I guess that it managed to get past QA. Maybe you change gender when you die in Cantha?

When you die in Cantha, you are presented with an Arcane Girdle of Femininity/Masculinity. Some choose to wear them. Some don't. Such is life. After death.

Yes, since the last shrine, for Vizu, clearly has a statue of Vizu and a ghsot of Vizu standing in front. Plus all but Mao/Kaolai have the same ghost name as the hero the stories are about.

Or just to see the puzzled looks on the faces of first-timers in the temple when they look at the inscription, then at the ghost, then the inscription, then the ghost, and so on. Really, when you're stuck in a temple with no-one to talk to but seven other ghosts and the occasional visit from the Emporer or his inner circle (in times of relative peace, anyway) you get the laughs you can...
More seriously, this was something I noticed as well...

I think there's a part when your doing the mission where the speach boxes change to a completly different language or just some sort of jibberish...

Ya it's the Ritualist ghost that talks gibberish. It says something about it in his story I think but I don't remember the details. Something about him challenging Balthazaar to a contest.
But ya I took pics of all the statues and their descriptions too because often times the manuscript window says she when the statue is of a male, like the necromancer in that pic above. I don't even think it matches up with the ghost mix up. I think sometimes it says one gender in the manuscript and the statue and ghost are the same opposite gender, and sometimes it's both. I mean...how can they screw up that bad?..
I'd say A.Net needs to fix these statues as soon as possible if only just to cover up the quality assurance incompetence. They never take the time to fix things that can be done in like 10 minutes. Like these statue word errors and the classic "DELETE ME" text screw-up in the second isle mission that I reported the first day Factions came out and they still haven't fixed according to a recent thread.
"DELETE ME" is a filler that was supposed to be replaced with the script that adds in the name of whoever the group leader is. Seeing as how they've used that same particular line of code well over 500 times throughout the game why can't they take 1 minute and add it in to the text box in the mission?

The ritualist ghost gets replaced by Master Togo if you've finished the game. Visit the explorable area of Tahnnakai Temple if you want to have a look.

Even in Cantha, you have men playing female characters and women playing men.

I have noticed this before...
As I play the Chinese version of GW, I though it was the mistake of the translation team...
but when I saw the screen shot then I know I was wrong...
